Pantos signs an MOU with TransContainer, Russia
2019.09.04Pantos Logistics partners with the Russia's largest rail transportation company, “PJSC TransContainer,” expanding its Trans Siberian Railway (TSR) rail freight business.
Pantos announced that it has signed an MOU with TransContainer, which signifies forging a strategic business link to establish partnerships and develop long-term collaboration models with the presence of participants from both companies in the 5th Eastern Economic Forum held at the Dal'nyevostochinij federal'nij universitet (DVFU) in Vladivostok, Russia on September 4th.
The two companies agreed to actively cooperate in the intermodal transportation business with Korea/China as a point of departure, heading to Uzbekistan, Russia, Europe, and Kazakhstan. In addition, the company plans to jointly develop logistics services for the Uzbekistan automobile industry and support each other to attract new customers by developing new container transportation routes.
PJSC TransContainer is Russia's largest railway logistics company specializing in TSR rail transportation. It has 38 terminals in Russia, complete with about 75,000 containers and 27,000 railway wagons (flatcars), handling an enormous amount of cargo which accounts for about 42% of Russian rail container transportation.
